About Me

My name is Carter Dumont, and I am honored to be part of the Southwest Florida CEO Class of 2027. As a senior at Gulf Coast High School, I have spent my high school years challenging myself academically while pursuing the AICE Diploma, competing at a high level in swimming, taking on leadership roles, and building my own business. I compete for both Gulf Coast High School and T2 Aquatics, where years of dedication have helped me become one of Florida’s top swimmers. I am also a member of the National Honor Society, Student Athlete Leadership Team, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and my church community. In addition to my academic and athletic achievements, I am the founder of C. Alexander Woodworking, where I design and create custom woodworking and resin products, including cutting boards, tables, and shelving. Building my own business has given me firsthand experience in sales, customer service, marketing, and project management while strengthening my passion for entrepreneurship. After high school, my goal is to continue swimming at the collegiate level while earning a bachelor’s degree in business and eventually an MBA. Long term, I plan to use my education and entrepreneurial experience to build and operate a group of companies focused on construction, real estate, property maintenance, and development. Through the CEO program, I am excited to learn from experienced business leaders, strengthen my skills as an entrepreneur, and build relationships that will help me turn these goals into reality.
